My Approach

A New Way to See ADHD

ADHD is often misunderstood, especially in adults. Traditional therapy methods weren’t designed for ADHD brains and rarely offer lasting results. My approach helps adults and therapists build real understanding through ADHD-specific insight, starting with how each brain actually works and why clarity must come before change.

  • Once we’ve established clarity on the ADHD brain, we introduce tools, skills, strategies, systems, and accommodations. These must align with the individual’s values and natural brain rhythms to be effective. This foundation ensures that any new approach is built to last and truly supports the person’s daily life.

  • My signature programs, such as BrainScript™, CBTa™, and ComprendMe™, are not about ‘fixing’ ADHD. Instead, they help people grow by living their ADHD synapses, specialties and sensitivities.

Expected benefits include improved focus, emotional ease, confident, self-acceptance, and a sense of belonging without conforming to societal expectations.

  • The first focus is on shedding outdated biases, reshaping self-criticism into positive self-esteem, and clarifying identity.

ADHD isn’t a flaw—it’s often the best part a person.

Once this groundwork is laid, the practical tools and strategies become more effective and meaningful.

  • This approach is powerful and dynamic.

Clients consistently express how good it feels to regain control and build success on their own terms, prospering as yourself.
It’s not about fitting into a mold—it’s about fitting into who YOU are in the skillful way you were never taught.

My background

Evolutionizing ADHD Understanding and Impact

  • Over the years, I’ve worked with thousands of individuals, helping them ditch the old models, decode their ADHD brains and love lives that actually make sense for them and not for others.

  • My experience spans prestigious institutions like Stanford, UCSF, California Pacific Medical Center(CPMC), and San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH), as well as working at a residential facility for troubled youth.

Early on, I took matters into my own hands, diving into ADHD knowledge when professional training was scarce. I spent time in schools observing children, advocating for accommodations, and later shifted my focus to adults breaking free of neuronormative expectations and creating lives aligned with their brain-based ADHD strengths.

Through these efforts, I recognized the high prevalence of ADHD and how often it went dismissed or undiagnosed.

  • Despite media claims of overdiagnosis, I’ve found that ADHD is underdiagnosed.

My work with children, teens, parents and adults shows ADHD affects about 1 in 4, not 1 in 20, as commonly reported. This underreporting stems from stigma and misconceptions surrounding ADHD, causing individuals to engage in “masking,” a chameleon-like camouflage in an attempt to avoid harm caused by bias, rejection and exclusion for being different… It makes my blood boil!

Evolution designed us as equals with different roles because how would humanity have survived and advanced if we were all cookie-cutter copies? My former clinical and neuropsychology experience, combined with my unique multidisciplinary approach via evolutionary studies, advocates that ADHD brains are highly prevalent because their contributions are beyond crucial for a healthy society.

  • My passion is making ADHD knowledge practical and impactful, grounded in neuroscience and what’s worked for my clients programs. I believe the conventional understanding of ADHD is wrong.

My focus is on creating solutions tailored to how each ADHD brain truly functions, offering insights that go beyond traditional methods.

Imagine the difference we can make!
